Federica and I went to the Mentawais in 2023. We had the opportunity to live and work right in front of HT’s (Lance’s Right) for eight months.
It was more than enough time for us to fall in love with the place, the locals, and the crystal-clear ocean with some of the best waves in the world.

It also gave us the chance to connect with amazing people, and from those connections, the idea of collaborating on a surf camp aboard a luxury boat was born.
The SiloinA charter ! maybe the finest boat in the Mentawais.

So here we are, launching a brand new surf adventure in the Mentawais !
We’re offering dates this year from October 17th to 28th, but this is just the beginning.
We’re already committed to making this ultimate surf trip an annual thing.

This is not your average surf camp where you pay for a bed, get five lessons with a random coach who pushes you into a few waves shouting “yeaaah, great ride!” and then you go home.
SurfXplore is something else. It’s more like a family on the move.

Fede and I love to connect, cruise, have fun, and most of all, chase good waves with good people. Our goal is always to stay connected. To the ocean, nature, the local community, and each other. That’s the spirit behind this project.
